Jacob was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, in a family deeply rooted in the construction and trades industry. His father, a journeyman electrician, worked extensively in high-voltage construction and eventually became a respected foreman. Known for leading from the front, staying hands-on, and earning the respect of his employees, Jacob’s father not only taught him the value of hard work but also the importance of contributing to the community. Growing up, Jacob watched him solve on-site challenges, manage crews, and ensure quality and safety, experiences that shaped Jacob’s own work ethic and leadership style.

Inspired by his father’s dedication and problem-solving mindset, Jacob pursued his own path in construction and engineering. After graduating high school in 2014, he earned an Associate’s degree in Land Surveying at Southeast Community College in Milford, Nebraska (2016). During this time, Jacob gained extensive hands-on experience on construction sites, working in a variety of roles including land surveying, materials testing, construction inspection, and site layout. This field experience allowed him to understand the practical challenges of construction projects, from soil and material testing to precise surveying and quality control, giving him a unique perspective that combines both technical expertise and real-world problem solving.

Motivated to contribute to the industry in a unique way, Jacob continued his education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2020. Jacob is now a licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in both Nebraska (2024) and South Dakota (2025). Over the years, he has worked on a variety of projects across the Omaha community and beyond, including Offutt Airforce Base, Emerald View Apartments (Lincoln, NE), City of Omaha Parks & Rec Flood Recovery, Arby’s locations, Smash Sports Complex, Mid-States Utility, Love’s Gas Stations, Casey’s General Stores, Truck Centers, and more. These projects reflect Jacob’s deep commitment to improving the infrastructure and services of his hometown and surrounding communities.

In 2025, Jacob founded J3 Midwest Trailer & Transport LLC with a few close friends and family, with a vision to provide trailer rental services that make it easy to rent and transport trailers with no truck needed and no driving required. Drawing on his father’s hands-on leadership style and a decade of experience in the trades, Jacob leads the company with the same principles: staying involved, accountable, and focused on delivering high-quality, dependable service.

“Our goal is simple: to make trailer rental and transport hassle-free, reliable, and convenient. No truck? No problem. We’ve got you covered.”

Joseph Dubbelde, the younger brother of Jacob Dubbelde, was raised in a hardworking family. He grew up understanding the value of dedication, persistence, and pride in doing a job the right way.

Like many young men graduating high school, Joseph wasn’t entirely sure what path he wanted to pursue. Determined to build a future, he enrolled in a CNC Technology program. In 2022, he graduated with his CNC degree, gaining valuable technical training and hands-on experience. After a year of working in the field, however, he realized it wasn’t the long-term fit he was searching for.

Finding his direction

Rather than settling, Joseph made the decision to pivot. He began working at Werner Enterprises, where he discovered something unexpected: he genuinely enjoyed operating and moving tractors. What initially seemed like just another job quickly sparked a realization: this could be more than temporary work; it could be a long-term career.

Motivated by that clarity, Joseph enrolled at Roadmaster Drivers School and earned his Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in August 2024. From that point forward, he committed fully to the profession, and he hasn’t looked back since.

Professional qualifications

Joseph is qualified to operate any vehicle requiring DOT certification for 10,000 pounds or more over the road. His training and licensing allow him to safely and confidently handle a wide range of commercial equipment while maintaining strict compliance with federal regulations.

Whether transporting dry goods for large companies operating on strict delivery schedules or helping homeowners move their personal belongings to a new property, Joseph approaches every load with the same level of care and professionalism. He understands that commercial freight represents business commitments and supply chains, while personal moves represent someone’s home, memories, and future. In both cases, the responsibility is significant.

From pickup to final delivery, clients can trust that their cargo is in safe hands. Joseph prioritizes safety, secure load handling, punctuality, and clear communication every mile of the journey.

Work ethic & philosophy

Joseph believes that finding the right career isn’t always a straight path. Sometimes it takes exploration, persistence, and the courage to change direction. His journey reflects resilience, adaptability, and a strong commitment to doing the job right.

For Joseph, trucking isn’t just about driving; it’s about reliability, professionalism, and delivering peace of mind one mile at a time.

John Liebentritt was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, where he attended high school. It was during this time that he formed a friendship with Jacob. The two developed a strong bond early on and have maintained a close relationship ever since, built on mutual respect, shared work ethic, and aligned career interests. After graduating, John began his career at Hy-Vee, where he worked his way up to assistant manager over the course of approximately five years. In this role, he gained valuable experience in operations, team leadership, and customer service. This early stage of his career helped him develop foundational business and management skills that would later support both his entrepreneurial efforts and his transition into more technical industries.

In 2018, John relocated to New Mexico in pursuit of new opportunities and soon entered into entrepreneurship by founding Liebentritt Enterprises, his own distribution company. Through this venture, he managed contracts with suppliers such as Pete’s Coffee and regional product distributors, handling logistics, deliveries, and vendor relationships. His role required both operational oversight and hands-on involvement, including driving delivery routes and managing product distribution across various locations. Over the course of approximately five years, John successfully operated the business, gaining real-world experience in supply chain management, customer relations, and independent business ownership.

In early 2024, John returned to Omaha and transitioned into the civil construction field, entering a role in construction administration (CA). In this position, he has worked on a variety of site civil projects, including roadways, residential developments such as sanitary improvement districts (SIDs), and commercial developments like business parks. His responsibilities have also involved infrastructure systems, including sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and paving operations. Through this experience, John has developed a strong understanding of field operations and construction processes. To support his technical development, John has earned multiple certifications from the American Concrete Institute (ACI), focusing on field inspection and concrete-related work. He is also pursuing additional certifications, demonstrating his commitment to advancing his expertise in construction and civil engineering.

John, from the start, has contributed to and supported J3, further strengthening their long-standing partnership. Their collaboration reflects a shared background in hands-on work, logistics, and construction-related industries, as well as a mutual commitment to reliability and practical problem-solving.

Overall, John’s career path reflects adaptability, initiative, and a strong work ethic. From retail management to business ownership and ultimately into civil construction, he has built a diverse set of skills that bridge operations, logistics, and technical fieldwork. His continued collaboration with Jacob-from their early friendship in high school to their present-day professional support-highlights the importance of long-term relationships in his career. Together, their shared experiences in construction, logistics, and service- oriented work position them to contribute meaningfully to their respective industries and to future collaborative efforts.
